Anna Duggar Welcomes Seventh Child, a Baby Girl
Tontitown, Arkansas – Anna Duggar, the wife of former reality TV star Josh Duggar, has given birth to her seventh child, a baby girl. The baby was born on October 25, 2022, at 2:39 p.m. CST, and weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces.
The baby’s name is Madyson Lily Duggar. She is the couple’s seventh child, joining siblings Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, and Maryella.
"We are so grateful to God for the safe arrival of our precious Madyson Lily," Anna said in a statement. "She is a beautiful and healthy baby girl, and we are so blessed to have her in our lives."
Josh Duggar was not present for the birth of his daughter. He is currently serving a 12-and-a-half-year prison sentence for child pornography charges.
Anna has been raising the couple’s six children on her own since Josh’s arrest in April 2021. She has been receiving support from her family and friends, as well as from the community.
"Anna is an amazing mother," said her sister, Priscilla Waller. "She is strong and resilient, and she is doing an incredible job raising her children."
